Volunteers
CoCo BEST could not happen without the many volunteers that participate on committee task forces and that work the various staff positions on contest day. Up to 70 individuals may be involved in effectively pulling off the regional contest! If you would like to participate as a volunteer, please contact one of our coordinators.

Coaching Opportunities
The role of the technology coach is to act as a mentor for his/her school team. They guide the students through a product design, prototype, and build-and-deliver sequence. Coaches are encouraged to participate in the student brainstorming sessions, but the students must remain the primary decision-makers as they design and build their machines. Engineers, industry experts, schoolteachers, and parents dedicate a small portion of their time to "coach" the students. Our goal is to provide at least 3 coaches for each participation school. If you are interested in coaching a team, please contact our coaching coordinator.
